I wanted to express the free form busy nature of time with syncopated rhythms (like a clock). You’ll notice that the track has a very “rushed” sort of feel. This was deliberate. The middle of the track also has a very neat part where it sounds like time is bending and flowing. I first played the motif (taken from sky temple actually), and then repeated the motif but gave the rhythm a very twisted quality. It still technically stays on “time”, but sounds really cool (and fits into the theme).
